It is a place that both provides quiet with its bays away from the crowds, entertainment life which allows you to socialize, and promises so much diversity that you can even enjoy a variety of extreme sports activities.
Among the distinctive attractions of Fethiye, there are numerous places to visit and various activities to participate in. We have compiled the most prominent ones in this article.
Ölüdeniz
Ölüdeniz, with its pristine coves, lush nature, and clear sea, is so much more appealing in person than in a photo, with admirable beauty. Those classic bird’s-eye views that are etched in our memory are indescribable.
It is unimaginable to visit Fethiye and not see Ölüdeniz, or to visit Ölüdeniz and not swim in the sea. The pleasures of the water on the shore of Ölüdeniz Kıdrak Nature Park should not be missed. The quality of the water is better offshore. It is quite clean, and there are several activities around. The Nature Park encompasses the region from the lagoon to Kıdrak Bay. In addition to hiking, picnicking, and camping, the park should be visited to in order to observe the natural life of the creatures that live there. The sea on the Blue Lagoon and Kumburnu sides is also spectacular. It is so natural that you may leave everything behind simply to relax your soul. It also boasts fantastic views for amateurs of photography.
Butterfly Valley
How could you visit Fethiye and leave without seeing the Butterfly Valley? Aside from its vivid blue and green hues, it is one of Fethiye’s most unspoiled locations, home to dozens of butterfly species that give the valley its name. There are around 80 kinds of butterflies that can live at sea level here. Butterflies can also create a living space here thanks to the humid air and plant richness of the waterfall, which is formed by steep valley formations. It is designated as a first-degree protected area. To conserve the valley’s natural structure, electricity is only provided a few times during the day, and the demand for hot water is met by solar energy.
Settlement is prohibited in the valley’s area, and land transportation is limited. Travelling from Ölüdeniz by boat is the safest and most pleasant option. The only thing left to do now is to relax and enjoy the sea, sand, and sun on this beautiful shore.
You should definitely stay here to swim in the morning coolness of the valley and have a pleasant start to the day. The sea is calmer in the morning, and swimming against the waves in the early hours of the day provides great tranquillity.

The area is especially appealing due to its developed tourism opportunities, numerous hotel alternatives, food and beverage facilities, and entertainment venues.
Faralya
Faralya, also known as Uzunyurt, is a popular romantic destination located between Kabak Bay and Butterfly Valley. Because the shore is rocky, the part where you can swim has a different structure. Stairs were built without harming the rock structures, and shaded places were constructed in the same harmony. These areas are positioned on a sloping structure, so that one does not block the view of another. There should be no doubt in your mind that you can spend romantic moments here in a tranquil environment, surrounded by breathtaking scenery.
Babadağ
Babadağ, located 20 kilometres from Ölüdeniz, is such a magnificent spot that you can’t believe it is real. You will undoubtedly agree when you come here to spend the day in a hilly location with a perfect view. Watching the sunset while drinking a cocktail at one of the spots here provides a wonderful experience. Mountains, bays, islands, hills, and capes, among other natural wonders, are suddenly at your feet.
Babadağ is one of the most convenient areas for paragliding. The region’s altitude, wind factor, and seasonal circumstances give the best conditions for this activity. Let us not forget to mention the view from 2000 meters high. It is one of the things you should try if you want to increase your adrenaline levels while on vacation.
